Education for Health – Education and Training

Education for Health is a charity which is committed to offering high-quality training and education to practitioners who provide care to people with long term conditions. This is why we have developed the REAL website to provide a free educational resource to healthcare professionals who have an interest in respiratory care.

We also run a range of one-day workshops, individual modules and programmes, which are aimed at education in a number of different subject areas.

To help increase your respiratory knowledge we have listed a number of courses that are more relevant to the REAL website content.

  • One-day workshop – The workshop will enable you to recognise and treat asthma symptoms appropriately
  • Diploma level module – The module is designed for healthcare professionals who wish to develop theirs skills and expertise in Asthma management.

  • One-day workshop – The workshop provides an overview of COPD. It will outline the condition, its complexities and basic management
  • Diploma level module – The module is for anyone involved in the care of patients with COPD and it will enable you to confidently identify and diagnose the disease at an early stage.

  • One-day workshop – The workshop provides a basic understanding of allergic disease
  • Diploma level module – The module provides in depth knowledge about the different manifestations of Allergy and how to treat them effectively.
